Solo devs can achieve extraordinary things.
The developer got in touch with me last year to say he'd come across my video games demo online and asked if I'd like to play a role in his indie game. I often get asked this, and often I have to say no due to other commitments or lack of budget. But when he showed me what he'd achieved so far it was an instant yes.
Within a few days we were recording dialogue and doing remote facial performance capture sessions, all while he juggled the other actors, dealt with bugs to get the game demo ready, the composer working on the score, and building the Steam page ready for test plays.
And it's all coming to fruition - check out the trailer, which is oozing awesomeness. I'm very excited about this game and grateful that Simon reached out to ask me be involved.
It's launching on Steam later this year and coming to consoles soon after. Get it on your wishlist now!
